Trip to Pécs and Kisjakabfalva

After the Orientation Week, which not all of the students attend, came another opportunity to get together and form friendships for the school year on 12-13 October. The students of the Institute (with some staff members), thanks to the planning by director Dr László Norbert Nemes, took a short trip to Pécs aiming to see as many sights as possible led by Dr Árpád Tóth.

Then they went to the lovely village of Kisjakabfalva, near the Villány wine region where they were hosted at the Jackfall Winery, a beautiful Swabian mansion. They enjoyed a wine tasting, a tour of the village and winery, and delicious meals. In return, the students treated the owners to many songs, music and even a little folk dance teaching. The sights of Pécs, the quiet village atmosphere of Kisjakabfalva, the beautiful view, the culinary delicacies and the common music making were quite an experience for all of us!
