ANNOUNCING

SCHOLARSHIPS for the Academic Year 2010-2011

The 'Foundation for the Kodály Institute', Kecskemét is pleased to announce three scholarships for the academic year 2010-2011:

"Sarolta Kodály Scholarship" - one full tuition scholarship
donated by Mrs. Sarolta Kodály

"Éva Vendrei Memorial Scholarship" - one full tuition scholarship
provided by the Board of the Foundation

Each scholarship is meant for candidates wishing to study in the full academic year program of the Kodály Institute.

The "Sarolta Kodály Scholarship" is given primarily for second year study at the Kodály Institute.
The "Éva Vendrei Scholarship" is also open to students who have already participated in the Kodály Seminar in Kecskemét or in any short courses organized by the Institute.

Cost of living (room and board) and additional supplies must be covered by the receiver.

Applicants must prove to have a solid musical background, a diploma in music, fundamental knowledge of the Kodály concept of music education and some years of teaching experience.

Applications must be accompanied by a detailed professional curriculum vitae, two letters of recommendation in English, and a motivation letter.
Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Application deadline is March 26, 2010 (date of postal stamp)

Applicants will be notified by May 15, 2010.
