Education:

Teacher's Degree (music teaching and choir conducting) at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music Budapest.

Areas of special competence:

solfege, music theory, piano, methods of teaching music, choir conducting.

Academic positions:

  • Associate professor at the Kodály Institute from March 1, 2004.
  • Associate professor at the Kodály Institute, Kecskemét since 1988.
  • Assistant professor at the Music Training College for Kindergarten Teachers Kecskemét 1983-1988.
  • Assistant professor at the Music Teachers' College Budapest 1981-1983.
  • Teacher of solfege, music theory, piano at the Music High School Szombathely 1979-1981.

Since 1985 she had been teaching solfege, methods and choir conducting at courses in several places of the world, including Cieszyn, Poland (Polish Kodály Seminars), Brescia, Italy, Capital University, Columbus, Ohio, USA, Lancut, Poland, Sommarivo Bosco, Italy, Komarno and Bratislava, Slovakia, Weinberg, Austria, in Seoul, Korean National University of Arts. She regularly teaches at the International Kodály Seminars held in Kecskemét.
