Graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music Budapest, department of music pedagogy and choral conducting and from Sapientia College of Theology of Religious Orders. In 2008 she was conferred upon the Doctor of Liberal Arts (DLA) in performing arts at the Liszt Academy of Music. Up to 2005 she was the leader of the folk musical editorial staff of Duna Television. Made several films, interviews and portraits in themes of music, folk music and ethnography.
Now she teaches folk music and communication at Pécs University, at the International Pető Institute and here at Kodály Institute.
She has published a great number of articles and studies on musical and music education topics. Her main field of research is Hungarian Folk Music.
She is author of some folk music books, performer on CD-s as a singer. She has been active in both the Hungarian (member of presidency) and the International Kodály Societies as well as other music societies in Hungary.
She is the conductor of the Pikardiai Choir in Budapest.
She has lectured several conferences in folk music, music education. Announcer of musical events.
